An Ale that hits ya fast when drinking harder than the average recreational drinker. Assuming that Founders KBS was started after brewing this one, it’s eerily similar the the original Breakfast Stout. Caramel and bourbon highlight this, with a heavy ABV

JAN21 checkin. Thick, dark brown with medium/low carbonation. Sweet smelling and tastes like honey in background. Smooth and oily, highly recommend!

Can't believe I've never had this before. Chocolatey and sweet. Surprisingly the mouthfeel is a little watery, but the scotch aromas and flavors are heavenly

Oooopppsss, this is a hell of a beer. Fat and creamy, dark ripe prunes top sweet choc and boozy notes. These Founders guys know how to brew beer, pff

A really tasty Scottish ale. A lot of bourbon flavor but it tastes great. 11% ABV so tread carefully.
