Been quite a while since I've had this stuff. Either my palate has changed/matured, or this is not as good as it used to be. I recall the whiskey heat not being dominating, as it sort of is here. Still very nicely sweet, layered caramel malts though.

Not one I'd drink every day but still. Great flavor and barrel aged is always more interesting

Mmmmm. Yup that sums it up! Complex with coffee, roasted malts, vanilla and the mighty bourbon on the nose. Has some sweetness and the finish is pure boozy bourbon. I like it!

Wow! Very sweet and pleasant. Ale aged in bourbon barrels, easy to drink.

A great strong dark ale. Good bourbon flavor a bit too smokey and you can't make out the bourbon notes.

Woodsy. Kinda sweet but a lot of bitterness to balance it out, kind of a like coffee. Smells a lot like scotch.

Not a fan of heavy alcohol % beers but I thought i would have given it a try, a very distinguished whiskey flavor

Not good (and I drink whiskey and bourbon regularly). I'm drinking it because otherwise it's alcohol abuse.
