This one was calling my name from the liquor store shelf 🤣🤣. I love Scotch Ales and I've had a few Backwards Bastards in my life. Thought I would give it another try. Honestly, not as good as I remember it being. Not bad, but not great.

Thick like a muddy river bank made of bourbon raisins.
No checkin location

Le bourbon est pour mes papilles bien présent, mais pas trop. Je retrouve un petit côté chimay bleue vieillie 5ans, mais moins madérisée. Des notes de vanille, ça tape quand même sévère ce truc (11°)

Wow. Wasn't expecting that. First sip definitely tells ya what you're in for. Very boozy and bourbon up front. Throughout its smooth, then a subtle sweetness starts to come through. It's a good beer. Not sure many can be drank at once. Definitely enjoyable

Better than I remember. I think I've built up my tolerance.

Scotch Ale at 11 ABV. First taste is definitely boozy with a high alcohol content but smooths out the more you drink. Okay but not my style of brew. Would buy again just because it is something different. Would probably be good with a great steak

Aromas of boozy fruitcake, cedar, rye, caramel malts, barrel, brown bread syrup. The flavor is milder, sweeter, carbonated smoothness, wheat chex, autumn leaves - a great last beer to sneak in at the end of the last 2023 Tucson beer tasting!

Boozy and strong. Interesting flavors.

Boozy, a slight hint of spice, and a cozy beer to end the night with
