The last of the four pack I’ve had for several months. Boozy with scotch, and an enjoyable sweet oak + caramel pairing. I think this last one is better than the previous few I had some months ago. Bottled 12/17/20.

Everything it tells you is true. Heavy flavorful. Doesn't really leave you with a tongue coat like most dark beers. Worth the extra money. Completely recommend.

I did not know about the 11%abv until I was half thru. Bonus. Really like the caramel flavor. I have no idea if it’s in there but I’m tasting it.

Toffee, caramel and bourbon notes. Heavy body with oak on the finish. Founders makes some of the best regular production barrel aged beers.

I love Founders but not their best effort. To be fair if I had know this was a Scotch style ale I wouldn't have bought it.

A beer defined by wood and smoke. Mildly sweet, but heavy on the tobacco, oak, and bourbon. A light herbal bitterness. Medium-thinner body. Different change of pace from all of the sweet BA beers on the market. 83

Hubby is still working and I’m at home drinking his beer. Think he’ll be mad? “I’m eating your grapes bro!” #impracticaljokers

The sun backlighting gives it a nice color. Great beer in a nice spot!

Single malt whisky heel subtiel aanwezig in deze wee heavy. Verder roastmout chocolade en lekker zoet
