Pours opaque coffee with a finger of light brown head. Blueberry, coffee, chocolate in the nose. Creamy mouth. Sweet up front and blueberry on the back, which can be cloying if drinking at fridge temps. Let this one warm up for an hour before drinking.

Very nice beer - blueberries unfortunately provide an upfront syrup like hit that detracts from the base. Will delight lovers of desert stouts.

Too heavy on blueberry for me personally. Prefer the KBS with a bit more kick from the bourbon barrel.

Solid beer. Barrel aged flavor blends nicely with the blueberries and coffee, there is acidity from the berries which is nice for cutting through the richness.

I don’t think it improves normal KBS. It’s still good, but the blueberry addition kind of cheapens it and makes it more like candy.

A little too syrupy/ fruity for me. A decent dessert libation, but I couldn't drink more than one.

The first taste provided a quick shot of chocolate which I really liked. This was followed by a consistent taste of blueberry. Overall a really good beer.

My least favorite KBS variant. Too tart. Not much barrel. Basically just Lizard of Koz. All that said, it was still pretty good.

This tasted just like a glass of overly sweet bourbon. Missing most of the tasting notes due to the uneven balance of flavor.

It still has that super syrupy barrel-aged flavor, but isn't bad apart from that.
