Following a Prarie Weekend, this seems thin and totally void of sweetness. After a while, the intended pepper - chocolate combo comes to life. More pepper than chocolate, but not totally out of balance. Right there with today's KBS. OK, but not special.

They've got to be using a good deal more maple syrup than I remember... They've turned their warm, boozy base into a serious stack of French toast. My real rating, 4.15

Definite blueberry and coffee but not getting much barrel. Still very tasty.

Pretty well done... Keep wrestling with rating 4 or 4.25... What the heck, I can't name a beer that uses Blueberries better than this. Round up it is...

I haven’t had this one in so long. It tastes like a million years ago when I started liking IPAs. Long forgotten. Happy to revisit.

Now that's some serious Hazelnut... (extact). Dominates the nose and big on the pallet. Would be better if this nutty adjunct were better balanced. That said, I still get the coffee (a plus) but not much barrel (not a plus). It's OK.

Not as good as the Prickly Pear, but still a nice salty Gose with solid flavor that packs a big punch (without tasting like it).

Really easy drinking, maybe too much so... Pretty impressive for a porter.

Such a delight to find on tap at the Bruin. It's takes high chocolate notes blend with a little coffee and a faint hint of maple. A treat!

Strong coffee, a little maple sweetness and almost no barrel/booze

Chocolaty, coffee forward, minimal maple... but it's there for sure. For a widely available stout, I'm all about it. However, if you go back to some of my earliest ratings, I'm sure I would have rated this beer much higher. (The bar continues to rise)
