Nice blend of coffee and sweetness. Slightly boozy but in a good way.Solid breakfast stout to start the Labor Day morning. 4.0 - 4.25

An excellent stout. Tons of chocolate and bourbon. Maple notes compliment the profile. Aged one year in bottle (bottled 10.1.19).

Was hoping it would be more mapley especially from a Canadian style beer but I'll take it. Super coffee punch on first sip. Chocolatey/mocha aftertaste. The sweetness from the maple is definitely there but not the rich woody flavor.

What’s not to like about a big Stout? Have yet to have a beer from Founders that wasn’t superlative.

I remember when this beer was considered one of craft beer's biggest whales...hype goes a long way, I suppose. Above average barrel-aged brew.

Finish strong. Canada invented hockey AND they drink this stuff for breakfast?! Wish it were just a schtickle less sweet.

Enjoying time at the Mahoney’s and also with the Kerbys. Dinner from old Havana and now sharing different beers. This has a sweet taste but not too sweet. Agree with Mark in the rating.

"Сига'еты и кофе, кофе и сига'еты," - пел когда-то мальчик картавый. Добавили кленового сиропа, подержа и свершилось чудо. Пусть хуже канадского виски только индийский и филиппинский, пусть Founders может и лучше, но и это получилось неплохо.

Is this better than KBS? I really don’t think so. There’s a sharp and almost astringent component here that doesn’t exist in the original. Nice, but not worth the fuzz

Doing a side by side comparison. They’re very similar. I’m leaning towards KBS though.

Like drinking an adult mocha latte. It’s delicious and well balanced with all of the other notes to make a sweet, chocolaty, coffee blend. Solid stout.
