Rather sweet, lacks bitterness for me to fully rate it so high. % is great, can taste it but not OTT. Leaves you knowing you've had a sip for sure.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! This one's been aging for 4 years. To be honest, it's losing the maple flavour.

A fav. Dark, mocha color. Coffee/chocolate smell. Aged in bourbon barrel, hint of maple syrup, maybe. Crushable at 11%+

My taste has changed an the standards for barrel aged has gone up, cbs is not what it used to be , needs more mouthfeel, depth and less barrel

Sept 2019 bottled. Very coffee-ish, with some milk chocolate coating. Don’t get much maple syrup. Pretty well balanced.
