2017. Initially served room temp. Roast is prominent, and maple syrup adds nice sweetness among the dark coffee age chocolate flavors. Chilled a little, wood flavor returned.

Very great tasting stout, can definitely taste the coffee notes. Not too heavy but can tell it’s strong

Пробую из камеры эйджинга 2019. Ароматика слегка уксусная кофейная. Чернослив стал крепким с нотами торфа и обожженой бочки. Приятный кофейный (чуть молока) вкус, чуть сладкий с винными нотами. Вязкое послевкусие с интересной ненавязчивой горечью.

Huge wood, bourbon and candy-like vanilla/chocolate. Slight dark fruit notes, but nothing roasty. Coffee is a ghost. Maple syrup emerges on the finish. Full creamy body; mod-low CO2. The 11.7% is firm but tame. After 6 years, this had aged amazingly well!

Last time I had a bottle of this was on my wedding. Was planning on drinking this on my 5 year anniversary on 7/28 but we gotta move before then. Enjoying now is the only option (and bottle has the man on the horse)

Yep, I agree with what I said last time! Still WAY better than all the KBS variants. But regular KBS is still best. But still.....Bring back CBS Founders!

Not sure which version I have but prob last one of a few in existence. Espresso syrup, thick, boozy, strong malt on the edges due to age I think.
