Times have changed. A few years ago this was one of my top 3 beers, now it tastes harsh (ash-like?). Perhaps it is the over roasted coffee? Would like Founders to reformulate to make it smoother if they bring it back.

Was hoping the maple would be more present but I think the coffee fall off from aging took a little with it. Super smooth and aged perfectly!

Erg zacht en rijk met inderdaad wat is esdoornsiroop en vaag wat chocola. Maar alles wordt overstemd door koffie, heel veel koffie. Iets teveel koffie.

After a great Pats win over the Bills... time to enjoy one of the 4 12 oz bottles I have left... perfection in a bottle. The wide right kick was nice... a throwback to the Bills under Jim Kelly... the Sam Adams Stout was near perfect too!

Blijft een zoete rakker, maar wel lekker. Zeker met m’n maar Thijs d’r bij, super gezellig afzakkertje na een bezoekje aan de Sint en z’n kornuiten
