I got this beer a little past its prime. The fact is evident that this was one an excellent IPA. It still has strong hops and a malty finish. Both now fading in the taste. But its clear this was a powerhouse in its prime

One a day historical check in,drank November 2010.Crisp hop nose.Plenty of citrus easing it’s way up my nasal passage.Lots of pineapple,peach & pear aromas too.Fruit laden flavours.Citrus tang most prominent indeed.Sharp hoppy finish with a hint of fruit.

That really smacks ya with bitterness and some other flavors that aren't helping this beer.

Aroma is pine and citrus hops with a hint of caramel and spice. Flavor is a nice pine hop and works its way into a citrus with a slightly bitter finish. Overall I really enjoyed this beer. I enjoyed the balance between the hops and the malts.

Love this beer. I try to buy it every year. Hoppy, malty, zippy and citrusy.
