2014-10-09. 355ml bottle from Pearl Street Beverage. Pour pitch black with a small light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and coffee, with vanilla and cream. A perfect example of craftsmanship from Founder’s !!!

So good. Definitely not dessert. Nice coffee hot and appropriately boozy. Had a couple of other Founders stouts bottled but on tap….😄

Mørk med let brunt skum. Mild lakrids i duften. Ikke så meget direkte smag men power på eftersmagen. Masser af kaffe og små hints af lakrids. Må rette min vurdering lidt ned.

10,5% Russian Imp. Stout (12.22). Duft af lakrids. Smagen let af lakrids. Nuancerne kommer i eftersmagen, kaffe og lakrids. En fin øl.

My final founders RIS imperial stout. A 2019 issue. I hope founders brews it again someday and I find it. I like this a lot more than KBS.

God imperial stout med tryck i rostningen. Smak av torkad frukt, lakrits, kaffe, choklad och lätt vanilj. 🇺🇸
