Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Kjørup
(7 yrs) still in good balance but with less oomph.
Bottle for comparison. More body and fruity acidity than tap version.

Very nice, but the peppers do not make the geuze better. I prefer a clean geuze.

Vinous in both fruitiness, acidity and bitterness. Semi light.

Very light, but with some OK cherry notes. Not very sour. Fizzy. Also notes of cinnamon and pepper.

Not very sour and with some grape sweetness, all in beautiful balance. Very very nice.

By Udder Means (Muscat Barrel Aged) Kjørup
(9 yrs) some acidity up front, subtle underlying notes of dark malts, finishes with some toasty bitterness. Light body.

Very special. Extraordinary. It features no pastry, nuts, spices, ... Just plain, classic IS. Nice!

Nice full bodied IS with dark fruits, soy and burnt malts. Some BBA sweetness, but nicely leveled.

(8 yrs) Still good. Roast and coffee. But lost some depth. Kinda light.

(6 yrs) Lost some body and sweetness. Dominated by bourbon BA. Oaky, boozy, a little off balance. Maybe past best age?

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°5 Kjørup
Infected? Metallic bitter, bad, finish.
Very light. Too light to balance the roasty bitterness in the finish. Respect for not adding cake or sweets.

Untypical Cantillon. Fruity, bitter. A little light but very drinkable.

Another recipe on tap version? Fruity sweet, oily texture, missing some funk.

Very light. Light body. A little funky, but not really sour. A little sweetness from the grapes, but not really ... Not a bad beer, but not typical Cantillon quality and palate.

Not quite as tart as the nose promises, but beautiful fruity, light and complex, with a dry vinous tannins finish.

Like the the vegetable it is fruity and very acidic. Beautiful.

Occulation Oak Barrel Aged W. Burbon Maker's Mark Kjørup
Sweet'ish, but with some good dark roasty notes and a reasonably sturdy base.

Starts really nice, but then goes awry; especially noticeable in the bitter finish.

A little light, but some really good black notes with a great finish.

(6 yrs) still so well balanced. Velvety and smooth with a smokey finish.

Nice clean and crisp IPA. Hoppy, floral, and the maltyness from the D is subtle. Would have liked it a bit more bitter.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Kjørup
(1yrs) some balance remains, but still excessively sweet. Better than 3 yrs aged.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Kjørup
(3 yrs) aging does not become it well. The usual great balance is upset and sweetness has become too dominant. Quite much so.

Not very sour, a little sweet, but beautifully fruity.
