From 2019 when travel happened. Black, rich, caramel and chocolate with dark fruit - a touch of smoke in the palate - brisk carbonation, creamy and a little bitter kick.

No soy muy fan de las Stout pero una de vez en cuando entra fenomenal y además esta estaba muy rica.muy cafetosa y de cuerpo muy "oleoso " parecía petroleo. Founders serán comerciales pero saben hacer buenas stouts

This and Marshal Zhoukov’s from Cigar City are probably the best 2 classic Russian Imperial Stouts that I know of. I’d give Founders the slight edge on taste, Zhoukov the nod on body/mouthfeel. I’m sure one of these deserves a 4.75, just not sure which.

Brewed with an abundance of malts, this stout is smooth as silk, yet complex and rich in body. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature to allow the notes of chocolate, dark fruit and caramel to soar.

I haven’t had this in (7) years. I’m not sure what year this is but it’s definitely aged. Just tons and tons of smokey coffee bitterness. Great mouthfeel. Just a fantastic stout. Thanks Casey!

BF 2015-05-10 Riktigt djup, krämig och fyllig. Brända kaffetoner dominerar. Hettar till lite i slutet, på ett angenämt vis. Väldigt fin stout som lutar sig på sin enkelhet och gör det galant!
