It might technically be a fruit beer, but this barrel aged brew is quite different. Smoother, boozier, but still sweet and tart from cranberries, cherries, and orange. I really dig this one as I am finding I feel about most beer that comes out of Founders

Very nice. Clean fruity flavor on the tongue. Clean finish of the tart cranberry. Has to be one of my new favorites.

For some reason I feel love with this one before I even freed it from the incarcerating grip of its bottle cap. Didn’t taste at all like an ale to me-the bourbon notes are front and center. Like a whiskey cranberry cocktail with a cherry on top.

Does it taste like beer? Not really, no. Is it very tasty and festive, and a bit boozy? Yes. If you like festive drinks and the tang of cranberry, this is a good drink.

Another one of those delicious cocktail beers. Cranberry is strongest, but cherry and orange make their presence known (along with the bourbon lol).

Nice balance between cranberries and bourbon barrel. Orange peel on top provides added complexity. Lots of stuff to ponder while you sip

Delicious tart fermented berries, cherries, and stone fruits with a hint of orange and warm bourbon flavor. Dry crisp oaky barrel tannins and a sweet malt richness add a nice finish that is neither syrupy nor bitter.

One of my all time favorites! Probably the smoothest 11% beers I’ve ever had. Big cherry/cranberry hit on the front and mild boozy finish, all fruit

Whew! This is freaking good! Maybe it is just me but this is hitting all the spots right now! The smell, taste, mouth feel, all of it is bullseye. Founders has never disappointed but dang they did something fun here.

Seasonal without being aggressively Christmas-y! Tart and fruity without being overly sweet, a new favorite perchance 🤔

Very cranberry followed closely by a whiskey flavor. Bourbon, barrel aged, citrus after that, orange.

The cranberry flavor is present but not overwhelming. The flavor profile blossomed as the beer warmed.

There’s this perfect cranberry apple thing going on the nose with a nice bourbon background. the flavor plays perfect on that cranberry and apple tones with such a nice backbone of bready Bourbon notes. Unique and lovely.

Cranberry with cherry (Bing?). Definite orange peel I would call this a tart flavor. It is good!! There is nothing to compare it to.
