Heavy clove and ginger up front, boozy barleywine on backend

Love Founders and bourbon barrel-aged barleywine...but just a little too forward with the ginger.

That's a hit of ginger. It's a lovely cookie profile and super different.

Pretty underwhelming.. not much barrel presence at all. Also quite thin for such a big beer. Very drinkable for such a high ABV, though. Nice flavor profile, just was really hoping for a lot more barrel notes. Just comes off as an imperial spiced beer.

Definitely ginger, not a lot of barrel flavor. Very drinkable for a high abv beer.

Good cold. Might be better served warm like xmas cider. 12.8% leaves ya feeling ready for Xmas.

Nice spiced ale, spices feel like a mix of eggnog and ginger snaps

Giner may be a bit overpowering.

Craft Advent Calendar day 8. Name pretty much pegs this one.

Aroma of ginger and clove with traces of oak and some hint of this being a barleywine. Taste features heavy amounts of booze with clove, ginger, and a touch of cinnamon. Very warm finish. Certainly a beer to sip and savor.

a bit spicier than some other gingerbread beers I’ve had, but still good

Like all novelty seasonal’s this time of year, sweet. Sneaky ABV. Enjoyable.

A lot of good spices bringing out the gingerbread flavor. Gets to be a little much towards the end and is a little more boozy than I'd like, but otherwise tastes like Christmas
