Please only barrel age a barleywine, don’t add these adjuncts to it too! Very sweet with too much of the spices takes away from the beer it’s self.

Ginger/clove nose with some bourbon burn to the nostrils. Tastes like ginger bread with a healthy dose of clove added. Bourbon and some woody flavors in the finish.

Ginger and clove on the nose. Starts with the same flavors, but hits hard what the bourbon and boozy flavors in the back end.

Gingerbread and molasses for sure. It drinks lighter than its ABV which makes it dangerous. It’s very good but also very holiday themed and that’s probably the only time to drink it.

Shining example of breweries running out of ideas for a strong beer. This isn’t bad though, some molasses should’ve been added for a more sweet element to offset all the spice. Pretty boozy.
