Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2023) Patchel
The irony here is the 2018 in BLiS barrels is kinda past its prime, while the 2023 with maple syrup added could use some time on it. Still enjoyable though.

While the flavors of the base beer are largely muted, it acts as an outstanding foundation for the adjuncts. Cinnamon is so hard to get right and they absolutely nail it here.

Shelves are depressingly homogeneous nowadays, so I'm glad a brewery of this size took a chance on bringing back a beer like this. Really hope the Bottle Shop Series continues next year and revives some other out of vogue recipes.
