Little coffee, little chocolate, not much syrup or barrel. Still a solid brew even in todays market.

Thin mouthfeel with a nose like fresh chocolate coated coffee beans. The maple really gives it a smooth flavor while cutting back all bitterness. Rich silky chocolate coffee with a sweet finish. Enough barrel to taste, not enough to make it over-boozy.

it’s like a boozy mocha latte, really trippy, but you still get that imperial stout bitterness in the aftertaste that lets you know it’s still a beer

I don't know why I keep expecting something different. It's ok, but nothing groundbreaking like it used to be. This might be on nitro too, which flushes out the juncts a bit. Solid, but just for the tick.

An interesting level of fruity sweetness that is not what I remembered from last time. Like there are raspberries in this. Still not getting much coffee. But getting the burbon and maple syrup to go with the oatmeal stout base. I like this more than kbs
