Founders needs to add this to their year-round list. The original barrel-aged brew. None finer. The coffee, chocolate, and bourbon aspects are spot on for this beer.

This is a great barrel aged stout. The balance of flavors is excellent with none of them overpowering the other. Coffee, chocolate, maple and bourbon barrel are all present.

Bourbon and a hit of ethanol on the nose when cold, maple syrup dominates when it warms. Sweetness climbs with the warmth, hints of roasted malts with bourbon as a base

Jag börjar vackla lite med denna. Väldigt god absolut. Massvis med kaffe och både lönnsirap och bourbon ligger på rätt nivå. Men den har en lite för hög sockersötma och munkänslan är inte helt tip top (på gränsen till avslagen). Nåja. Får bli 4,50 då 😄

Wanted an evening that I could set back and enjoy this beer. Tonight was it, nice chocolate, coffee, oak bourbon & maple flavor. Was back and forth with 4.75 and 5.0. Went with the 5.0, couldn't figure a way to make this better. Thanks Son!
