Nice chocolate taste. Get a hint of peppers as it warms

Decided to grab a single off the shelf and give this one a try. I’ve had most all of the variance over the years. This one is decent. Well thought out. Nice balance. But I think for me one and done. Cheers to Saturday beers. 🍻

The Porch Pub is now The Circada. Circadas on the porch on my left, on my right, and in the bushes in front of me. As long as they behave and don't sing their horny song, they can stay. Now playing at the Circada, "Chains and Things" B. B. King (RIP).

Just enough spice in this one. Reminiscent of cinnamon stouts I’ve had. Still like the original KBS the best.

Overall fairly good but I’m not a fan of the spice.

Rough week. Tonight seems like a good night to hang in my office watching dumb shit on YouTube until I fall asleep.

Rich chocolate flavor with a spice that's not overpowering. I'm picking up a touch of vanilla as well. A nice balance throughout.

Heavy, chocolate thick taste, slight sweetness, hard to do more than one, might be good for beer shake

Really good beer with my brother in Peoria. Not as spicy as I suspected, but still really liked it. Beautiful night to sit outside for dinner..

Mexican chocolate and chili peppers in the Kentucky breakfast stout. This one is a winner.

It always feels appropriate to drink these KBSs out of a coffee mug!

Real smooth for what it is. The burn is real slow and subtle - juuuuust shy of where I'd like it to be, but my heartburn would rather it be on that side of ideal I guess

Nice sweet, mildly spicy stout. I guess that I've had more exotic high octane fare so this seems very tame.

Deep cocoa on first sip; barrel becomes stronger as it warms.
