Heavy? Sweet chocolate which is nice. The peppery burn on tongue and back of throat is mild at first then intensifies a little more is off putting.

Not what I would expect from a founders stout. Just a wee bit disappointed.

Disappointment. Not bad, just kind of blah. $20 too for a 4 pack. Use to be a huge founders fan but sad to say their glory days are in the rear view mirror. So many other craft beers now that put these guys to shame. And their new labels suck too.

Strange flavor. Not spicy pretty sweet. Maybe a slow burn.

They dropped the ball on this one. Some pepper, coffee and bitter. Poured my taster out. Uck.

Not super spicy, but weirdly, also not as much coffee as I would’ve liked.
