On this beautiful day, not too warm nor too cool, I figured it made sense to transition from my normal big Imperial Stout (I saved a little for the end) to this light, fruity beer that I haven't checked in for five years. Raspberry and creaminess (nitro).

Subtle chocolate and chili notes, while very drinkable for a high ABV.

I am a huge fan of KBS and have been for the entire eleven years I have been a follower of Craft Beer, and the rating on this is just too low. I think people have a tendency to be overly critical of KBS variants. The spiciness is mild, the chocolate rich.

My favorite stout is a chocolate chili pepper stout and this doesn’t disappoint. A little sweet. I don’t think I could handle another 10oz due to the sweet. But this spicy imperial stout hits the right notes.

A little underwhelmed by the spice and lack of heft in this 12% stout.

First off, they’re playing Tool. Fuckin’ a. Also this beer is metal. I’ve had Rubæus before but it’s way better on nitro. The only thing that could have made this better is if they were playing Ænema.

It tastes like a tart cloud! This is right up my cutie’s alley, which is why he ordered it. How nice of him to give me a little taste!

Good session sour. Nice combination of salt, sweet, and tart.

So, I’m not one to brag about my impeccable sense of taste, but I think this tastes more like maple syrup than a sour? Either way, this doesn’t make my lips pucker up like a warhead and I am pleasantly surprised.

Better than expected. Maybe because the adjuncts are subtle but spot on. Chocolate appropriately stronger than the cherry.

The old KBs is still there but sweeter and becoming more pastry.
