I really like KBS. I really like mole style beers. This is both. This is the northern version of both…actually 4.1

Pretty complex beer. Peat from the barrel, spice is well done, chocopate finish. Yet somehow it doesn’t wow me personally. But its VERY COMPLEX. Interesting variant.

All flavors are "hot" as this example was bottled on 12/27/2023. Needs some mellowing. Still, a good vehicle for this particular variant.

Everyone’s rating seem average. I think this had great spice/coffee/chocolate with a thickness I don’t think is normal.

So often the chili is too much in variations like this, but I’d say this is well balanced. Really nice on a cold winter afternoon
