Green Zebra

Sour - Fruited Gose

Subtly sour and a little sweet, this ale is a refreshing take on a nearly extinct German style, gose. Watermelon is the highlight of this lightly-hopped treat and gives it a hint of satisfying juiciness. The soft mouthfeel and dry finish comes courtesy of the addition of sea salt, a traditional gose ingredient.

Watermelon-y. Minor tart. Sweet and salty. Kinda smooth.

Not as sweet as I remember this thankfully. Golden color. Smells like lime and watermelon. Tart and bright, with watermelon, lime, and salt. Little sweetness, but not too much.

Bit sweet, but nicely counteracted by the margarita serving style

Classic Green Zebra. Really should be drank in 90° weather. Watermelon sour.

So, I’m not one to brag about my impeccable sense of taste, but I think this tastes more like maple syrup than a sour? Either way, this doesn’t make my lips pucker up like a warhead and I am pleasantly surprised.

A tart, fruited sour. The salt taste is very subtle, which I like. Thanks Zebra!
