IPA - American

This West Coast IPA explores the interplay between classic Simcoe, Citra and Comet hops with heady white sage. Sourced by our pals at Juniper Ridge from a family farm in Northern Mexico, the white sage adds enticing, bright notes of fresh herbs that weave seamlessly with coniferous pine & bright grapefruit from the hops. A blend of pilsener, rye, crystal and Munich malts provides a firm backbone of light toffee and spice.

For those able to navigate by the position of the stars in the sky should be able to gauge my time spent @ DFH today. Seems they’ve finished mashing in… Herbal sage dominates aroma & flavor, with light malt, citrus, and a hint of pine on the tongue.

I probably wouldn’t drink this often, but I appreciate what it is and would enjoy one on a cold winter day.
