Rating more about the experience rather than the beer itself. 10 year old bottle. Aged fairly well. Belgian-caramel. Thanks to JP for sharing

Retro check-in. I recall disliking the currants.

Another from my stash, bottled 2012, one more left. Has lost a little but still has enough flavor to be enjoyable. More of the raisin/ currant flavors come through.

Bottled in October 2011. I last had it in November 2011. My parents found two bottles in their basement last year. It has aged surprisingly well, and although I gave it a low rating back then, my pallet has changed significantly and this tastes fantastic.

I dunno what it originally was supposed to taste like, so can't rate it fairly, but FWIW, it's pretty good now!

Another aged selection. Tastes ok, but comes across like a mediocre blonde strong or barleywine. Currants emerge as tart. Ehh, so so, much like Pearl Jam’s catalogue. :mic drop:

My friends Abbie & Avery decided to pull this out of their cellar, while admitting it'd been cellared for far too long. They were correct, but I appreciate them sharing it with me nonetheless.

Bottled in 2011. Pulled from my aging stash. 2 bottles left. Can't remember how it tasted when it first come out, but it is still drinkable.Malty, almond flavors, currants come through as slightly tart.

Not picking up currants beyond wet cardboard at this point but in a sentimental facet, does it get Eddie Vedder than this?

Bit of sour nose upon opening. Then aromas of caramel and fruit. Flavors are mild and weak. Hints of bubbles but no layers. There are bits of toffee that was probably stronger. The intensity is gone bit it was nice to pour up so many memories...

I think this one lost some of its flavor over the last 10 years aging in my basement.

I’d give it a 10 if I could because it reps the greatest band in the history of the world. 🤘

Aged 10 years, so maltier than probably intended, but I'll take it!

Got three of these ($25/bottle) last weekend. Old special brew they made that they brought back on limited basis. Amazing! As many of you know, PJ is my favorite band that I travel all over the world to see play!

Coronavirus cellar turd day #297. Duplicate turd bottle #33. I actually don’t mind this beer. Rating increased as better than a lot of current soup IPAs. Turd fact of the day: the average turd abv was 11.4%. JFC. 3 more turd days to go
