Jonathan N. Says the nose is like Welch's aged in oak barrels...and I agree. Mouthful of sweet juice with a surprisingly bright and vibrant body. Finish is a lingering essence of grape skin and it is not normal. Wow.

Pretty tasty but it was a one time, no need to have again experience.

Is it barley wine? Or malt liquor? Not my style or preference. Sorry to the world that apparently loves it.

Nutty nose of walnut and pecan. Round, soft mouthfeel with some lovely toasted cocoa and vanilla bean. The smooth chocolate finish is impressive. Better than expected with some subtlety and a burnt sugar/nutty/chocolate finish.

Pearl Jam Twenty Faithfull Ale Neal
Bit of sour nose upon opening. Then aromas of caramel and fruit. Flavors are mild and weak. Hints of bubbles but no layers. There are bits of toffee that was probably stronger. The intensity is gone bit it was nice to pour up so many memories...
