Whoa. This tastes much lighter than it is, clobbering you over the head with its ABV as you casually sip through the early evening, slowly turning your attention to more frivolous matters just as this gets to you and you realize you need conscious focus.

The rosettes match the color of the label, flavor goes pretty well with it too.

Trying with limited success to teach them how to play liars dice With limited success. They did bring me beer though, so the rest does not matter!

Dark hazy amber. Sweet orange marmalade & candied peach. Peppery, honeyed aromas. Malty creamy. Rich, malty, toasty caramel, strong but nicely so. Deliciously sweet & smooth. Well balanced. Lovely sweet molasses. Bitter, spicy dry. Barley wine! Yum. 17/20
