Has a very smooth malty smell. Thick and a slow sipper, malty boozy backbone but bitterness is decently controlled. Very filling

Strong is the only flavor profile I could choose for this one. Not a fan unfortunately as dog fish šusually knows how to do it. Also, 9% looks like Iām walking home after this one.

Head-to-head DIPA taste test. Both 9% ABV. Found this in the "mix-six" rack for LESS than the relative price in a six pack! Grabbed 2. I've rated this 4.25 in the past and that rating stands in this taste test. Richer and tastier, IMO.

Very malty, I like the hops but just wasn't all I hoped for.

Best IPA in America? I think Esquire magazine needs to get out more. This is everything an old school IPA used to be. I didnāt like old school IPAās. Super hoppy. Even the āmalt forwardā ness canāt cover up the hop burn.

Good, strong IPA. Nice flavor drinking with some bacon wrapped shrimp and sausage off the grill!

I mean Iām sure it fits the imperial IPA style but the alcohol flavor was too overpowering

What superlative can I exhaust for this Imperial IPA? Itās rich and smooth, yet had a bit of juicy edge. Just right for the end-of-your day drink.
