A nice post-hockey game beer. Exhausted by the long trip, the jetlag and a brilliant Rangers hockey game, this Imperial IPA is the perfect sleeping pill. Bitters, creamy malts and fruits fight for attention. Not bad

Much maltier than most IPAs nowadays. Not a ton of aroma but not a ton of booziness either, which is appreciated. Think it might've been better back in the day, but still pretty good.

Skulle ønsker flere IPA smakte slik! Appelsin, fur, grapefrukt, karamell, brød, gress, og mer! Bittert, men balansert og støttet opp med maltsødmen. Balanse altså! Klassiker!

I guess Esquire magazine does not get out much. It does have a malt backbone and if you like a malt forward beer it’s great. Another type of imperial ipa is a hop forward ipa. My preference is a hop forward ipa like Hop Venom or Sticky Hands. Just saying
