April 2017 batch, so closing on 6 years aged. Boozy, bourbon caramel notes lead. Hops are present, but don’t show up until the finish, and then they linger.

Judging as a Barley wine. Aged 8y. Still boozy, tasted like dates and candy. Not overly sweet though. All I needed was a robe, a roaring fire and a snowstorm.

Love this beer. I buy this every time i can find it. Amazing flavor profile woth several phases of tastes. Bitter like an IPA should be, but without any extremem burn. This one never fails.
