Zzzing! 5 years old, wish I had a fresh one to compare. Not an IPA at this point, more caramel malt, deep copper in color, almost no head. Should have held off and had this one in winter by the fire.

Impressive flavor for the ABV, but just takes it a bit too far for me.

High abv, it just wasn’t my favorite in terms of flavor. Still recommend however.

Thin head. Clear and yellow. Strong malty and hoppy aroma. Sweet, worty, and thick. A tribute to excess. One and done.

Ikonisk öl. Flaska från 2016. Hade gärna gett den högre betyg av nostalgiska skäl men den är lite för spritig och spretig för de högre betygen.

Birthday beer. Bottle born on 7/30/2020. Me born on 1/30. Yummy yummy even like 3.5 years later. Think that was my last bottle unfortunately.

Unfortunately I only had a small glass. First pour was clear but when I added the rest, there was some sediment I wasn’t expecting which clouded up the beer. The flavor remained with some added hop notes. Very sweet. Very boozy.

I always forget how strong this is! Such a bold flavor.

Sweet, boozy. This year it's only at 15% or so. Nothing like the burn I remember from way back when

Disappointed, just very boozy without much else flavor profile wise.

Very, very boozy upfront with hops at the finish. Toffee and caramel notes with sweetness.

The taste is unfamiliar to me. Definitely doesn’t taste like any IPA I’ve had. It’s sweet, strong, and smooth but I don’t get why it’s highly rated. If your goal is to get buzzed from one beer, this is it; but it’s not something I’ll continue to drink.
