Gotta love drinking two Dogfish beers and having it be the equivalent of like four shots 🤣

Hoping this will help me sleep tonight lol. Slightly less boozy than past ones and smooth.

Vintage 2019 the last of it (they ran out a few minutes later on tap). Still heavy hopped and high Ibu maybe a little smoother.

Finally. Just never crossed paths until now. $36 for a 4-pack. 😳 Good thing it ages well.

Well, gol dang. First time having this and it is TERRIFIC. So tasty. The color and consistency of the composition is an art in itself.

First one I've had in many years. They dialed the ABV all the way down to "only" 16.6%, which improves it quite a bit. It still tastes more like a very hoppy barleywine than an IPA, but at least it lost the motor oil consistency of previous editions.

honestly not as gross as i remember it. still more a novelty than anything, but it DOES age well

Smell is “warm”, sweet, some hops down below. Very sweet, boozy, and 3-5 out of 10 bitterness. Well balanced. At 18% ABV this is effectively a wine, not a beer. Great but expensive ($9 per bottle). Price takes it down a notch and a little more alcohol...

2020 batch (I think), on the 120th day of the year. It’s a good brew day.

Been a while since I had one of these. Strong herb and beet sugar nose. Full complex flav: sharp bitter, candi sweetness, BW adjacent. Alc burn but tastes less than 16.6%. Aftertaste is a pleasant hop and some sticky sweet. Much better than prior versions
