A classic, deceptively drinkable with perfect not-cloying vanilla notes, a lot of malt, but still enough hops to balance it all out. Perfect for special occasions like Christmas Eve or, in this case, Tuesday.

Less hoppy than I remember, but this had been cellared for years. Gotta get my hands on some fresh ones.

Boozy and oaky but very smooth. Very smooth in an English Pale Ale for the ABV.

I forgot how much I loved this beer. Such a great balance of malt, hops, and oak. It’s a treat to have it again but wish I could get this all the time.

This beer is better than 90 minute and I like 90 minute. Such a good malt backbone and I'm not even a fan of malt backbones.

Aged 4 years on the dogfish floor. Cool beans. Bottled 9/13/19. New wood aged. 🪵 🍺

Live @ Dogfish Head - Burton Baton is one of the best beers in the world. Period. Stop. End of story. Imperial IPA mixed with Olde English Ale. Aged in bourbon barrels. Stop. Just stop. Beer lives here.
