Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Andrew
Great beer with a new Dogfish compilation album! ๐ป ๐ถ

Aged beautifully. Smooth and boozy, notes of sherry. Seems appropriate to be enjoying the "holy grail for hopheads" in an actual grail. Well done with this glassware, Dogfish! ๐ป

So glad I stocked up on this beer before Dogfish stopped making it! ๐ป

Wow this one is awesome. Super sweet and maple syrupy. Makes me feel very warm on a cold, snowy day. ๐ โ๏ธ

This is a nice East meets West style IPA. Good hazy with lots of smooth citrus, but still deliciously piney like my favorite West Coast IPAs.

Wake Up World Wide Stout Andrew
World Wide Stout with coffee is a nice combination. Looking forward to seeing how this one ages as well. Cheers! ๐ป

First of the season. A little earlier than normal for me, but it called to me this year. ๐ป ๐

Slight spice that has likely faded a bit with the age of this beer, but still very tasty. Chocolate still comes through a bit as well. Sweet and smooth.

Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout (2017) Andrew
Aging nicely after 5 years. Super smooth, still lots of vanilla coming through. Even smoother and sweeter as it gets closer to room temperature.

Very light and refreshing. Orange and mango come through nicely. Mildly sour. Wish I could get the beer to pair with the Dogfish Head RSD release, but it was sadly exclusive to Miami this year. Still, cheers to a fun record and a refreshing beer! ๐ป

Starts out like a smooth port but then finishes with a slightly sour cherry flavor. Chocolate still coming through slightly, but this one interesting with age. Not my favorite, but definitely not bad either. Fun RSD music pairing as well. Cheers! ๐ป๐ถ

Crisp and refreshing imperial pilsner / Italian malt liquor. Nice prelude to dinner out at an Italian restaurant tonight. Perfecto! ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐ป

Very boozy and sweet with a slightly fruity finish. Seems like those raisins are still coming through a bit after 8 years in a bottle.

Rip Van Winkle World Wide Stout Andrew
McKenzie doesn't enjoy strong dark beers nearly as much as I do, so I guess it was up to me to finish the crowler. This beer is so amazing. Please make more, Dogfish Head.

Rip Van Winkle World Wide Stout Andrew
Really wish I had gotten a few bottles of this one to age, but I'm glad I got to try it in a crowler at least. Absolutely delicious. Similar but a bit better than the last bourbon barrel aged WWS I tried. Boozy and amazingly smooth. Cheers! ๐บ

Enjoying this Dogfish Head masterpiece alongside the two whiskeys derived from it. Really hoping Dogfish gets their Palo Santo tank back in working condition again so we can have more of this amazing beer (and whiskey!) Cheers ๐ป

Having this one prepared as a Southern 75 with some Dogfish Head Straight Whiskey. Usually prefer my beer as is, but this is a great beer cocktail. Cheers! ๐ป

Drink it fresh or age it, 120 is always amazing. Love the new label as well.

Very sweet and smooth with lots of coffee and chocolate flavor and a hint of coconut. Delicious.

Definitely one of the most unique pilsners I've ever had, but not in a bad way. A bit more citrus heavy than other pilsners, but still crisp, clean, and very refreshing on a nice day like today. ๐บ

A little bit more subtle flavor than I expected, but chocolate and orange flavors still coming out nicely without being too overpowering.

Boozy, sweet, with a slight fruity taste. Can hardly tell that this is a 12 year old beer. Aged beautifully. ๐ป

Sweet vanilla blends surprisingly well with the oakey, peat-smoked flavor. This is a beautiful beer reminiscent of a good single malt scotch with a hint of vanilla and caramel to balance it out. It's aged very nicely as well. Cheers! ๐บ

Happy 120 Day continued. Almost 10 years old - sweet and very smooth. Cheers!

Oloroso Sherry Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Andrew
It's truly amazing how consistently amazing every variant of this beer is. Even uncarbonated, it's perfect. Drinks like a liqueur with all of the sweet, maple-like, and nutty flavor you'd expect from good sherry.

Enjoyed while waiting in line to get my book signed. Thanks Sam, Mariah, and Andrew! Cheers!

120 Minute Double-barrel Aged Andrew
Definitely my new favorite 120 variant. Tastes like a 120 that has already aged 10 years. The hops are mellowed and the taste is boozy and malty. This is perfection.

Enjoying one last time side by side with The Veil's version. Starting with the OG this time. Will always be an all time favorite of mine.

Bryan, These Bones Are Bananas! Andrew
Had no idea what to expect from this, but I really enjoy it. Has a smoky flavor almost reminiscent of beef jerky balanced by a subtle sweetness from the bananas. ๐ ๐บ ๐

American Beauty Hazy Ripple IPA (2020) Andrew
Honestly wish Dogfish had kept brewing this instead of Hazy-O, but glad I saved some cans.

Always delicious. Comparing to The Veil's "Freaky Friday" take right after this.

Dirt Nap (Freaky Friday Edition) Andrew
Nice collaboration between two awesome breweries. Fruity and floral hazy.

Had a cicada visit while I enjoyed. They're really starting to get quite loud.

This, to me, is an ideal IPA. Excellent hoppy character balanced out with a little bit of malty sweetness. Very similar to 90 Minute IPA, but just a tad smoother and mellower thanks to the bottle conditioning. Cheers! ๐ป

Went to a Grateful Dead dinner at Dogfish Head one year ago today. Looking forward to being able go to one of those again someday! Beer bottled a little over two years ago, but still going strong. Cheers!

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020) Andrew
Nice fireside beer for a snowy day. This has aged well - bottled about 10 months ago. Very silky and smooth with some hints of coconut.

Celebrating Dogfish Head's 25th Anniversary and the end of a crazy year with a beer from their 20th anniversary. Never had this one fresh, but still tasting lots of cherry and a hint of that chocolate.

Or in this case, the IPA of Christmas Past. Really glad I stocked up on this one before Dogfish Head stopped brewing it, and I hope they bring it back!
