Clocking in at 10% this was always my favorite DIPA from DFH! Oak aged

Strong as get-out, with alcohol not at all hidden. Interesting blend of the malt and caramel flavors of a dubbel (or even a Quad) with the bitter hops of a big West Coast IPA. The oak aging adds lovely depth, but doesn't quite blend the flavors.

Tried an aged bottle from 2010. So mellow & full of caramel.

Somehow this ipa doesn't taste as bad as ipas do but it's also 10abv B+
