World Wide Stout (2014)

Stout - Imperial / Double

Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex. This ageable ale clocks in at 15-20% ABV and has a depth more in line with a fine port than with a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer.

Almost as old as my youngest son. The abv is still strong. The flavors are still definitely bold. Clocks in at 18%. This is all over the place. It's still pretty good.

For a 10 year old crowned bottle it held up well. We did lose a little carbonation but still tasty as F!

Didn’t realize this was 18%. There’s no abv listed on the bottle. Is that even legal anymore?

This aged really gracefully. Still a big, impactful brew. Massive roast to this deep, dark, rich espresso like notes. Still has a bit of a boozy kick to finish but way smoother than when fresh. A little dark fruit peeking out near the finish. Solid stout
