Still. Has a vibrant slightly bitter coffee quality. Not too bad. Easy drinking.

Hmmm… I don’t think it aged well. A bit light, but the coffe notes still gets through. They poured this in a full pint. 😂

Does a breakfast stout age well? Not really. This nine year old tastes different, but not better (or worse, to be sure). The head is complex, but the taste is less so.

Dark chocolate...VERY much dark chocolate. If you've ever bitten into a 75% dark chocolate bar, you know. You. Know.

This leans into pickled territory. However, there is a spiciness and a light bitterness that's quite pleasing. Enjoyable.

A little tart. Not as good as last time, but still good.

This is old school indeed. Malty, warming and good.

Aged, "mint cola", smooth, some sweetness, probably past it's peak, balanced for a 15%

Smells like an old ale... touch of molasses syrup. Medium sweet. Vibrant but light body. it's like boozy syrup. Not overly sweet. Medicinal quality to the finish.

Very strong, hints of sweet. Not what I was looking for but I can finish it. I kind of sense some fermented fruit with the sweetness.

It tastes like it’s been aged 11 years. Really smooth. Sweet and fruity.

Apparently, my 666th unique beer in the app. Not bad at all, if you're into this kind of thing.

8 years later, strong and mellow, any hint of harshness is long gone. Now it’s like a fine port.
