I unfortunately haven't had this braggot/barleywine hybrid in years, as it doesn't seem to be available near my current location. If memory serves: honey-and-malt-forward and finishing like chardonnay, with hops in the middle.

I am conflicted on this beer. It tastes kind of like a chardonnay mixed with a lager. I feel like it has potential, but it just doesn't do much for me.

Very smooth, does not drink like a 9% which is probably because of the honey. Worth picking up if you can find it

King Midas had good taste! Very much a wine finish, though the saffron does sneak in there!
