Thank you Ian for bringing this delicious brew back to Pa. Really digging the honey on the backend.

1-31-2017. Held up very well. Kinda tastes like a doppelbock blended with a tripel.

Chopped and ancient ale! I may have to replenish my quarantine stash at some point.

One of my go-to beers as it’s refreshing and unique. It looks like it’s not in the lineup for Dogfish Head’s beer calendar this year which bums me out. Hopefully next year

The last of my Midas Touch and it looks like it will be the last for a while since they’re not making more this year

This one was aged for a little over a year. Ages well, some additional spiced notes are showing through.

5yr old bottle cellar aged: effervescent but weak head. The sweetness is a hint of it’s previous presence. Flavor is well balanced and full of nuance. Very satiating & hugely enjoyable. Looking forward to another bottle in a year or so.

4-5 year aged cellar pull. I like this a lot! Way more than fresh honestly. This is like a syrupy and delicious British-style malty delight at this point.

Fantastic beer with a great honey nose and taste but much better than mead. This bottle was 5+ years old as it was bottled 2/25/19. Amazing!

My favorite beer. Fruity and light, wonderful hops profile.

Always a favorite, I make it a point to keep a 4 pack on hand at all times.

The audacity to use modern science to resurrect an ancient beer recipe and have it taste AWESOME! Fragrant, strong, it tastes like gold would taste if you could drink gold!

Fantastic! And even better knowing the story in Smithsonian magazine from July August 2011 . I'm guessing it was King Midas favorite given it was in large quantity in his tomb
