Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Hameister
Decadent to the max. Better than a cup of caffe mocha, maple builds as you drink, the BA character somehow takes a backseat. Always good having some CBS.

Boozy for sure, molasses, some good barrel character too. Some roasty malt bitterness though

Medium body and too clear for something with so much wheat and oats added. Good flavor, but a bit muddy, no bitterness, some alcohol detected

Not clear what year this is, not listed on the tap menu at all. But they're selling 2019 bottles, and it seems smooth so may be aged? Very smooth, maple syrup is just right. Get some vanillin too. Excellent

Strange beer, but all-in-all it ends up tasting like a barelywine blended with red wine. I'm down. 17% is there, but not objectionable

Having it again after 4 years. Even maltier than last time. It's barely an IPA honestly. Not bad though
