A truly unique concoction. Aroma is of sweet honey and white grapes, closer to a mead than a beer. Pours a clear golden yellow capped with a minimal white head. The mouthfeel is soft, ending with a minty zing and long sweet honey and juniper berry fade

For a 2,700-year-old recipe, it ain't too bad. 700 BC me would've definitely drank this after a hard day of slave labor. Interesting array of flavors with barley, honey, grapes, and saffron

Wow huge wine profile, lots of honey and muscato grapes, almost like mead, probably wouldn’t buy again but very unique

Old and ancient but still a good one. Would love to drink this fresh, or why not brew it? 🤔 🍻🍻🍻

Definitely get the potent kick right away, but the sweet honey undertone was enjoyable!

Interesting. Lively notes of honey, a wee sour note, sweet Muscat grapes and a lively yellow grape aroma, a Barley Winesque, very elegant floral finish. This was brewed in 2014 and stands the test of time.
