Pennsylvania Tuxedo

Pale Ale - American

A spruce-infused pale ale, Pennsylvania Tuxedo pays homage to the flannel-suited hunters and gatherers who dwell deep in the backcountry of north-central PA. This sessionable concoction has a grassy citrus kick complemented by the resinous conifer notes of fresh green spruce tips. A dry yet doughy malt backbone lets the hops and spruce shine while still balancing out the bitterness, making this one an easy drinking ale rich with the aroma of Paul Bunyan's cologne.

It’s back and may be better than ever. It’s piney but not as in your face I previously remember. That resin mixes so well with the pine. Love it!

Thanks to Vagabond for adding this little gem to their stock. Oh and notice the old school Jeep in the background. Nice spot when you get here early. And no it’s not for sale.

As a Pennsylvanian, I can confirm our tuxedos are red flannel. This is fantastic by the way.

OMG grapefruit and pine, loads of carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Perfect! I can’t dock this any points, it’s literally exactly what I want right now.

Is there a name for middle-of-the-night-to-keep-snake-warm-but-also-protecc-from-dogs-and-own-dumbassery-for-opening beer that doesn’t involve the word “alcoholic”? Going to try “working vacation.” 🍻🌲😁🐍🐕 #ItsMorningInAmerica #LastCanStanding

2nd of pack is better.”garage” cold temp helps.not as purely sprucey as before- used to be drinking a pine tree(but not gin)and simple but deep at same time.mid body that wants to push to full.aftertaste is less pleasing/more bitter/shorter than rememeber
