World Wide Stout

Stout - Imperial / Double

Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex. This ageable ale clocks in at 15-20% ABV and has a depth more in line with a fine port than with a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer.

Wow! That’s quite the boozy taste. At 18%, as the description says, it’s a lot like a port.

Overwhelmingly mediocre. A fine stout but nothing to make it any more exceptional than anything else on the market.

Boozy. Didn’t realize when I bought it, but this is the 2016 batch. Guess that’s why it was on sale. The age hasn’t hurt it.

Let it breathe for a bit like a wine. Much better as it warmed up a bit.

Did not wake up this morning expecting a coup, but I guess 2021 wanted to prove that shit could get worse than 2020.

Grabbed it on sale, good to try. Crazy boozy, medium burn on the finish. Otherwise, malt, chocolate, cherries and dessert wine. Thick and heavy. Almost no carbonation. Would have it again!

Not a fan.The bottle says a ridiculous amount of barley. If that’s the case I don’t like barley much

The definition of danger is a delicious beer that tastes like it is 9% ABV, but packs a punch that is twice that. Quite the spectacular concoction.

2006? 2007? Not sure, but this one's a teen, and is one of the better cellaring experiments. Rich dark fruit, savory soy, licorice, sherry, port, umami and no cardboard. Fantastic.
