Meh…just tastes like old boozy sugar water now. Not what I remember from fresh drinks of 120, or even younger bottles. Ages well?

Despite the suggestion on the label, this did NOT stand up well to aging

Hoppy strong and a bit aggressive. Thankfully doesn't leave a deep after taste but feels like a bourbon barrel age. Doesn't work quite as well for an IPA for me. Not for me

This will never age into anything you want to drink

Boozy and old. Like the dust of a bottle in grandpa's basement. Rich with homemade ketchup, pickled veggies and bath tub brandy. What once was a beer is now an alcoholic artifact.

It was better five years ago. #BiL

We let her age a bit. Real thick pine notes kinda sticky. Surprisingly not much burn but strong alcohol after-bite with subtle sweet notes.

Getting better! Which is still to say I hate this beer. This week makes me want to instantly set my whole cellar on fire

Strong and sweet hop juice. Boozy and tasty.

Mellowed out a ton. Drink these before they sit for 4 years...

Happy 1/20 day. Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate today than by getting rid of some garbage (which some people absolutely love for some reason) that's been around since 2016

Might be in the minority here, but it was a hell of a lot better fresh IMO.

Imagine drawing a histogram of aging 120’s, this is on the far end. It’s in the “why the hell haven’t you had this yet?!” section. Still good, too malty.

It tastes like an American barleywine. Bottled 4/2016

Not a ton of flavor left on the front end. Some caramel and dates on the back end. Good carbonation and mouthfeel left on it

Curious to see what the other 3 from this year do once I eventually open them

Didn’t taste like an IPA at this point, was really good though, but with 6 ounces couldn’t place what it’s become. I don’t recommend letting it age any longer

The bottle said it could be aged for a decade, but not sure it aged super well.

Check out that date, 4/8/16. Might have been better a year or so ago, boozy and sweet. Barleywine basically. No shocker I’m still going to drink it!

Tastes like a punch from George Foreman before he sold grills.

Been sitting on this one for 5 years. Was really excited to try but a little disappointed. Drinks like a barley wine for sure but not loving it

Hop bitterness have given way to sweet malty base. The fusel alcohol of fresh 120 minute has thankfully faded away. This might be the best 120 minute I’ve ever tasted

Update to my original rating from 2016. Now 6 years older and boozier. Less syrupy tasting?

Bottled April 2016. Bourbon and water. Really loses the hoppiness with time. Less sweet, no more Manhattan. Like these better younger before oxidation
