Obviously hard to rate a 13 year old beer but this ain’t bad at all

Definitely way past it’s prime. Getting a little funky, but decent and cool to try such an old beer.

A bit sweeter than the un aged version. Still super boozy and full

From the cellar. My son was 3 when this was bottled 😳

This has held up exceedingly well. Swaths of rich dark chocolate fudge and raisin pudding, super creamy with a surprisingly low level of booziness. No real signs of oxidation, if anything its slightly nutty. Great stuff

Incredible depth of flavor that definitely goes the distance rather than a quick finish on the palette. Dark chocolate malt finishes with a massive amount of dark fruits. Tasting quite a bit of oak at the end. Definitely needed this after today....

I didn’t expect much from a 12 year old stout, and I’m glad I didn’t. Looked like a brown ale. Slightly acidic. It was not good. Poured it out.

12 years old & still delicious. Still boozy with raisin, chocolate & plum flavors.

Barrel aged? Nope. Just an old ass 18% ABV Stout. Boozy? Oh yeah. Age did nothing to the booziness. Boozy and sweet with roasted malt, coffee, molasses, dark chocolate, black licorice, and a bunch of dark fruits like raisins, black cherries, and figs.
