Not as familiar with the cream ale style and it isn't a personal fave, but this has a warming, spicy nose with a beautiful golden, clear colour. Mouthfeel is definitely thicker than expected. Hints of licorice and that is the anise. Nice.

On a blind taste test, this one was light & weird. Probably need to revisit as a stand alone

Spices, ginger, subtle vanilla....an alternative to pumpkin beer? Definitely tastes like an autumn beer but different

Very unique (or off centered). Doesn't not remind me of a cream ale (much). Spices come thru a lot. So, I'll call it a spice beer. Very enjoyable. Thank you my friend s at DFH!

Better than expected. Dry and sweet. If you like stale boozoka bubble gum this will be your jam. Definitely try it, but don’t hate me for it!

Definitely different. Spices are notable throughout with a sweetness that follows.

This is a great beer and I’m happy with buying it once to try it. Will I get it again? Probably not, but that’s not an insult to this beer. Dogfish Head, keep making cool beers like this and I’ll keep trying them.

Debate night beer from Biden’s state. For one of my favorite breweries this is disappointing but Biden from its state is not. Will have to get better ones for future debates.

Creamy vanilla with hints of spice. Turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and cardamom. Light and touch of sweet

Nose is heavy on the spices, thankfully taste is dialed back. Very much spice forward though. Kinda reminds me of Saison du BUFF with a fuller/creamy body.

Haven’t had a DFH brew in a long time. But this golden milk inspired imperial cream is delicious. You get the cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger on the nose. And the sip is all of that up front with lingering sweetness from the cream and vanilla. Delicious!
