High marks for effort; it doesn’t have a silky mouthfeel but given the gravity still holds the flavors well; boozy with a hint of anise. I look forward to aging it and see what time does!

Thin but really nice. Also I had zero clue this thing is 17% ABV. Drank more like 9-10%. Impressed with how not boozy it was.

For a massive 17%er the body is pretty thin. I get toffee and a ton of barrel. Good but not up to the hype. Tagging Dave S. and his new 450N profile pic for the review 🤣

Almost no carbonation. Bit thin color for a stout. Nose is dark chocolate roasted oak. Medium body. Then boozy boozy boozy. Slightly sweet but then you guessed it boozy. Slight bitter finish.

4-4.25 big booze, barrel, sweet, dark, smooth. A year on, eh not sure it’s as good as it was a year ago lol but onward to try again in 22 and 23

I believe this is 2020 version, but the date code is confusing. Boozy and thinner than expected, but at 17%, not bad. Took an hour to sip on this. Oak, Caramel, chocolate booze. Paired well with Chocolate Kisses.

So much raw vanilla booze. Light body considering ABV. BIG RICH boozey vanilla chocolate coffee bomb. This will age so well.

WARNING: this one is no joke; it’s 34 Proof and you can FEEL it. That said, it’s a tasty, robust beer. It gives scents of caramel and molasses, along with the syrup-sweet taste of a honey-forward bourbon. It’s A LOT, but in a good way.
