Mid-90s Microbrewery Red Ale

Red Ale - American Amber / Red

We all had to start somewhere. It just so happens that our Brewing Ambassador jumped into better beer when red ale was THE THING. So, here it is. Oozing with toffee-ish, bready Munich and Crystal Red Rye malt, and tempered by select American hops for a taste like many others, Mid-90s Microbrewery Red Ale is the beer you didn’t know you were missing.

Malty hops but smooth with a touch of toffee sweetness. Nice! 🍻

Certainly evokes those great toffee-tasting red ales of 30 (!!?!) years ago. Mellow, with a bit of British bittering. Smooth. And it’s great coming out of the cask.

As someone who really enjoyed mid-90s microbrewery red ales, and kinda misses mid-90s microbrewery red ales, I was pretty excited to try Mid-90s Microbrewery Red Ale. Tastes like a mid-90s microbrewery red ale!

Oregon would approve, although a bit more malty and less hoppy than optimal.
